Hi!

Why, hello! I am Ralph’s mom, Jensen, and Ralph is my dog!

This whole thing started a couple years ago, when I was a broke college student with the holidays approaching. I love my friends and family and I love to give gifts, however I was lacking in the financial department. So, I went through my likes on various social medias for some inspiration as to what I could whip up, but doesn't end up being glorified junk. And, if you couldn’t have guessed by now, embroidery was the winning DIY activity that stole my heart!

Great! I have a do-it-yourself idea that will, theoretically, save me money since I’m not buying a gift for everyone, I am just crafting while I watch tv before bed!

Wait...I forgot about supplies… Yeah, everything costs money. However, I am a thrifty girl and I can figure something out to cheat the system. And, that, I did. I bought an embroidery set online and then went to the thrift store. After a few trips, and many finds for myself, I found some plain-colored, good-condition, comfy sweatshirts for each person. I watched a TikTok or two on how to embroider and then, from there, at the risk of being too cheesy, I let inspiration lead. Over the next several weeks leading to up to the holidays, I made several personalized sweatshirts for a very small amount of people.

I was only able to finish the ones for my immediate family in time for Christmas morning, but the reaction and support I received from my incredible family pushed me to finish and send the ones for a very select few outside my immediate family. And again, a phenomenal reaction.

From there, I caught the bug. I started embroidering on random sweatshirts during my free time. Then, I found myself embroidering all the time. It was all I could think about - which came to bite me in the booty later (if you know, you know :/)

Fast forward a couple of years, and here we are, still embroidering, just with higher quality products! I still have the bug and people outside that initial circle like what I am making! I love when someone messages me inquiring about a potential sweatshirt they are imagining because not only do I get to exercise my creative muscles that are begging to be used, but I can make someone’s vision come to life.

And man, the feeling of seeing someone in one of my sweatshirts or getting a picture of someone wearing something I’ve made, cannot be topped. It is a top 3 most incredible feeling. I work a full-time, in-person job and this is something I spend all of my personal time on. So, seeing you all wear something that I have spent so much time and energy on is an absolutely unmatched feeling, of which, I still have not found the proper way to put into words.

Now, that afore mentioned bug, has turned into a monster. I have seen how a hobby could turn into a business and here I am leaning into it.

Anyway…I could clearly go on and on and on and happily would over a cup of coffee or a cocktail ;) but for now, thanks for tuning in and happy browsing!

xoxo,

Jensen
